What is Broadband Light and what is it used for?

Broadband Light (BBL) is a light-based therapy used to improve skin appearance by reducing wrinkles, fine lines, rosacea, post-acne marks, and hyperpigmentation. This skin treatment uses a wide frequency range technique to emit multiple wavelengths of light that can reach different depths in the skin. From D-CLINIK we explain to you more about the applications of this therapy.

Our Doral BBL service in Doral works by applying pulses of light onto the treated area, whether it is the face, neck, chest, arms, or hands. The skin absorbs this light energy, stimulating collagen production and eliminating pigmented cells. This is why this skin treatment is ideal for acne, vascular lesions known as “spider veins” and broken capillaries.

Broadband Light can also help reduce signs of aging, sun damage, scars, large pores, dull skin, pigmented lesions (freckles, age spots), redness, uneven skin tone, and texture.
